In the early 2000s, our growth demanded an independent and robust repair department. While continuing to specialize in Gilman-made products, we expanded our expertise to restore spindles and slides from other brands to better-than-new condition. We’ve also channeled advanced technology to perfect more complex machining, such as compound assembly applications. Dedicated to our clients, we continuously expand our capabilities to meet evolving industry demands.
In 2021, we upgraded our facility to feature solar power, underscoring our commitment to high-quality service while actively reducing our emissions and carbon footprint.
Today, we specialize in manufacturing slides and spindles, as well as repairs and custom application projects. Our engineers are here to provide unparalleled support and knowledge, no matter the industry. We’re proud to work with the US Military, medical OEMs, and other highly-regulated industries on projects like:
- Developing a five-axis linear guide assembly with a belt-driven spindle to manufacture F35 strike fighter landing gear components
- Using 80 Gilman spindles to bore holes into pipes that underlay the sand control screens used for underground drilling
- Creating a new spindle solution optimized for use in blood centrifuges
