Gilman Precision Supports Local Organization and Promotes Health and Wellness in the Community
GRAFTON, Wis., June 27 2014 – Gilman Precision is proud to sponsor Elevate’s 6th annual “Under the Influence of . . . Adrenaline” race series.
Elevate serves as a community resource center, providing solutions for families and individuals to reduce risk for behavioral health issues and other high –risk behavior. The Sprint Triathlon seeks to promote a healthy and active lifestyle, and to support programs and services designed to reduce high risk behavior among youth.
“Gilman is thrilled to be a part of this event. Internally, health and wellness is important and our monthly meetings address that, offering incentives to those who stay active. The triathlon that Elevate is hosting is not only empowering, but impacts the lives of many—sending a crucial message”, said Chris Hetzer, CEO at Gilman Precision. “We always seek community involvement, and what better way than supporting a healthy lifestyle”.
The physical activity planned for the race consists of a quarter mile swim, 16 mile bike course, followed by a 5k run. Food will be offered to all participants at the finish line.
The triathlon will take place in Random Lake, WI at Lakeview Park, a beautiful location right on the water. Participants will experience courses through Kettle Moraine, a fairly hilly loop with outstanding views of the country side, and a residential run around the lake in Sheboygan County.
Potential participants are allowed registration up till August 21, 2014. The series will take place Saturday, August 23rd, 2014, at 8:00 a.m.
